Verifying RF device performance with a blocking test
Download this white paper to learn what blocking tests can uncover for RF devices.
Signal interference can pose a great threat to new Wi-Fi modules. For wireless coexistence, the CE mark indicates a receiver function’s minimum robustness. However, as the EN’s standards do not meet real-world conditions, a more reliable testing scenario is needed. By combining different methods, e.g. RED/ETSI based standards alongside observations from experience, it is possible to gain a more accurate view of an RF receiver’s robustness.
This white paper explains how addressing parameters such as frequency positions, levels, bandwidths, operating conditions and signal types with customised blocking tests can better verify RF device performance for real-life environments.
3 key takeaways:
- Setting up and running customised blocking tests
- Issues around existing EN standards
- RF device performance
